Hastelloy X Hardness
Typical hardness (as annealed): ~160–220 HB (Brinell Hardness)
Equivalent Rockwell hardness: approximately B85–B95 HRB
Can be increased slightly by heat treatment but mostly supplied in annealed condition for good ductility.
Additional info:
Hastelloy X is a high-temperature, oxidation-resistant nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy.
Hardness is balanced to allow good creep resistance while maintaining machinability and toughness.
