Silicon (Si) ≤ 0.08
Carbon (C) ≤ 0.10
Aluminum (Al) ≤ 0.20
Titanium (Ti) ≤ 0.15
Copper (Cu) ≤ 0.30

Characteristics

Excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance

Good resistance to oxidation and carburization

Good resistance to stress corrosion cracking

Strong corrosion resistance, especially in oxidizing environments

Good machinability and weldability


Advantages

Can be used long-term at temperatures up to 1100°C (2012°F)

Stable resistance to thermal fatigue and thermal expansion

Suitable for harsh environments in aerospace engines and gas turbines

Combines strength and toughness, suitable for manufacturing complex parts
