Nickel Alloy 800H, Incoloy® 800H
Incoloy® 800H is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that is part of the family of 800 series of alloy. Also known as Nickel Alloy 800H, Incoloy 800H has many of the characteristics of the other 800 alloys. These include:
-
Resistance to prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures
-
Excellent resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and carburization
-
Added Carbon and annealing treatment allows for higher creep and rupture properties above 1100°F (600°C)
-
Resistant to high temperature corrosion
-
Readily machined by standard methods
-
Best joined/welded using products for high temperature situations
-
Resistance to aqueous corrosion at moderate temperatures
Incoloy 800H differs from other 800 alloys in a few ways. First, it has a slightly different chemical composition that includes:
-
Fe 39.5% min
-
Ni 30-35%
-
Cr 19-23%
-
Al+Ti .30-1.20%
-
C .05-.10%
Many companies in a wide range of industries utilize Incoloy 800H and Nickel Alloy 800H for a number of applications, especially those that deal with temperatures about 1100°F (600°C), these include:
Industrial furnace components and equipment
Petrochemical and chemical processing
Equipment for Heat-Treating
Pressure vessels and heat exchangers
Hydrocarbon cracking
Pipe, tube, sheet, strip, plate, round bar, flat bar, forging stock, hexagon, and wire are the many forms of Incoloy 800H and Nickel Alloy 800H that Sino Specialty Metal offers for distribution. The important industrial standards that the sourced Incoloy 800H must conform to come from organizations like as ASTM, ASME, BS, SEW, DIN, EN, and ISO. As is the case with everything else that we source from our many mill partners, this need is met by the sourced Incoloy 800H.
Sino Speical Metal is a distributor of Incoloy 800H and Commercially Pure Nickel in Plate Flange, Blind Flange, Orifice Flange, Lap Joint Flange, Slip-On Flange, Socket Weld Flange, Threaded Flange, Weld Neck Flange, Spectacle Blind, Paddle Blinds, Spacer Rings, and more to meet all specifications. These specifications include ASME B16.5 ASME B16.47 ASME B16.48 AS Forgings, rings, shafts, discs, bleed rings, and other products can be customized by SSM and supplied according to the drawing. Mills that produce Ni 200 metal products meet or exceed the most demanding industry requirements, including those from ASTM, ASME, DIN, and ISO. These requirements are among the most stringent in the industry. These criteria are among the most stringent ones that exist elsewhere in the globe.
