304 Standard austenitic stainless steel with 18% Cr and 8% Ni.
304L Low-carbon version of 304 (L = Low carbon, ≤0.03%).
316L Low-carbon version of 316, with added molybdenum (Mo ~2–3%) for improved corrosion resistance.
