Iron melting point

The melting point of iron is approximately 1538°C (2800°F).

This high melting point is one of the reasons iron and its alloys, such as steel, are used in high-temperature applications like construction, machinery, and furnaces. The melting point can vary slightly based on the presence of impurities or alloying elements (like carbon in steel), but pure iron typically melts at this temperature.
