Product Description – 31254 (254 SMO) Stock Plate
SSM supplies 31254 (UNS S31254 / 254 SMO) stainless steel stock plates, a highly alloyed austenitic stainless steel with superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. This alloy is rich in molybdenum and nitrogen, making it ideal for extremely corrosive environments such as chloride-bearing seawater, chemical processing, and offshore applications.
The stock plates are hot-rolled or cold-rolled, pickled and passivated, and available in various thicknesses, widths, and lengths, ready for fabrication, machining, or welding.
