An F55 end ring refers to a circular component made from F55 super duplex stainless steel (UNS S32760 / W.Nr. 1.4501), commonly used in piping systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, or mechanical seals to provide sealing, connection, or structural support.
🔹 1. Material Overview
F55 (UNS S32760) is a super duplex stainless steel containing approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 3.6% molybdenum, with small additions of copper, tungsten, and nitrogen.
It combines the excellent corrosion resistance of austenitic stainless steels with the high strength of ferritic stainless steels.
