Product Description – ASME B16.5 Slip On Flange, Stainless Steel 316
SSM supplies ASME B16.5 Slip On Flanges manufactured from stainless steel 316, a molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel that provides superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced corrosion.
The Slip On Flange (SO Flange) is designed to slide over the pipe and is fillet welded on both sides, making it easy to install, align, and maintain. It is widely used for low- to medium-pressure piping systems that require corrosion resistance and ease of assembly.
