Product Description – ASME B16.5 2" Class 150 Slip On Flange, Stainless Steel 304
SSM supplies ASME B16.5 2-inch Class 150 Slip On Flanges made from stainless steel 304, an austenitic stainless steel containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel. This material provides excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, and durability, making it one of the most commonly used stainless steels in the industry.
The Slip On Flange (SO Flange) is designed to slide over the end of a pipe and is fillet welded on both the inner and outer sides. It provides a secure, leak-tight connection while being easy to install, align, and remove, suitable for low-pressure and moderate-temperature piping systems.
All flanges are forged, solution-annealed, and precision-machined in compliance with ASME B16.5 standards, ensuring consistent quality, accurate dimensions, and smooth sealing surfaces.
